WHAT'S ON.
AT HOOKED ON THE ROCKS, FALMOUTH
Never in a million years did we imagine we would have to write this...
As of yesterday evening we shut our doors as a restaurant and following the government guidelines understand that this is the safest and right thing to do. We promised you... our incredible customers and friends a take away service, which we are operating 12-2.30pm & 5-8pm today and tomorrow Mothers day 12-2.30pm. Please call and place your order over the phone.. the menu is online or you may have had it posted through your doors. We are also selling our incredible sourdough and doughnuts with 24 hours notice. This has been so very popular and if anyone would like one for tomorrow please do get in touch as they are selling fast. We are taking payments either over the phone or contact less only please and we are very happy to leave your order outside on a bench if you would prefer to minimise contact. Please just ask! We are also offering our incredible NHS workers a discount on food and also a free jam doughnut. We want to take this opportunity to say T H A N K Y O U T H A N K Y O U T H A N K Y O U For all your amazing work!! Please bear with us as we navigate through to next week and make the best plan moving forward. We also want to say a M A S S I V E T H A N K Y O U to our incredible customers and team who have been sending messages of love and support! And also for ordering so much take away last night it was truly incredible and for that we are extremely grateful. We will absolutely be here is full force and stronger than ever once we have been told its safe to do so!

... What crazy times we find ourselves in indeed! We are super happy to announce our dine out menu which goes live tomorrow Thursday 19th March. You can also enjoy this menu inside our restaurant where we are exercising safe distance dining, outside next to the sea in our terrace area or decide to take away in our biodegradable boxes. At the moment you can ring us on 01326 311886 as we going to gauge when to make this available.
Next week definitely Friday 27th, Saturday 28th & daytime Sunday 29th March with a look to go more full time the following week. We appreciate that you may of made a booking with us based on our normal operational menu but we (due to uncertainty) have had to condense and diversify due to the situation. We really hope that you will give it a try... W E A R E I N T H I S T O G E T H E R and we want to help during this unsettling time. As concerns grow regarding coronavirus (CORVID-19), we want to promise that everyone at Hooked on the Rocks will continue to provide the highest level of hygiene and implement the necessary precautions to protect our customers and staff. We will continue to follow the advice given by the British government and leading experts as the situation progresses. The safety and well being of all our guests and staff members continues to be the highest priority. We are working in line with WHO, NHS and government guidance to provide the highest possible levels of hygiene and all staff members have been briefed on the importance of self-isolation should they experience symptoms. We aim to reduce and minimise the risk of any transmission by adhering to these standards. Please don’t be offended as we are now asking everyone to wash their hands upon entry to the restaurant, we have also taken out some of our tables to ensure a safe space for you to come and dine with us. We completely understand that with all this in mind you may choose not to dine out at all in the next coming weeks…. with this in mind we have made the very difficult decision to adjust our opening hours in accordance. From Monday 23rd be open Friday Saturday & Sundays in a bid to protect our small independent business. We are extremely grateful for your support and custom and feel that this is the best way until we are told otherwise to continue. We sincerely don’t want to let our staff, customer’s and suppliers down and are monitoring developments as they arise to keep ahead, informed and feel that the priority has to be the welfare of our customers, staff, families, friends and neighbours. |
