AT HOOKED ON THE ROCKS, FALMOUTH
Thankfully we have so much outside space & are so incredibly lucky to sit right on the waters edge overlooking Swanpool Beach!
We have been busy painting... gardening.. building benches.. and have something really really exciting going on this year in our fantastic car park space!
I don't want to say to much now.... but think of sitting as close as you can get to the sea sipping Aperol spritz & fizz whilst enjoying our incredible nibbles. Think Ibiza vibes!
In our restaurant space on the outside terrace we have
x6 awning tables (heated & covered)
x6 terrace sea view tables (uncovered not heated)
x4 outside tables (uncovered not heated)
all bookable online.. awning tables will go first maximum table number 6
Please bring coats etc if you are sat outside the awning as it will get colder as the night progresses we do have blankets provided for your comfort
PLEASE PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO BOOK A TABLE AS WE ARE SELLING OUT FAST https://app.hospres.com/V7QFN8/reserve
Following Cornwall being placed into Tier 3, we will be closed from today until we hear it is safe to re-open as a restaurant.
Whilst things were set to look and feel different this year, we're sad not to be able to welcome our New Year eve guests this week. However, from the outset of the pandemic, we've been careful and disciplined in our support for the national restrictions. Protecting the health and wellbeing of our guests, teams and communities remains our priority.
Whilst the next few weeks may look tough, we’re focussed on 2021 with positivity and energy and will use this time to plan accordingly. We're not going anywhere and we’ll keep you connected to Hooked on the Rocks with our photos and stories on Instagram and facebook.
In the meantime, we hope you all stay safe, well and wish you all the best for 2021 and thankyou so much for all the love and support over the last few months that have enabled us to remain open and do what we love.
Well what FANTASTIC news indeed! Please head to our MENU section to see our new Winter menu.
We are very much looking forward to RE-OPENING NEXT WEEK & have had lots of discussion about our hours and will/can amend if we go crazy again.

Whist we remain shut for the duration of November we have been working hard on maintaining the usage of the outside awning space as a dining area during these colder months. The feedback has been amazing and we will continue to hire the larger heaters for the space and also we have reinforced the awning panels so they are double lined to retain the heat for customers and make it a more permanent usable space.
This outside space is crucial for us to be able to allow the larger bookings of 5/6 to dine with us in safety as the inside space is so limited in the ability to put these size tables together. It allows customers who have been shielding or feel nervous about being inside the flexibility to opt an outside space to enjoy their time with us... as well as if you wanted to bring for 4 legged friend with you!
Please if you have booked online give us a follow up call if you have a specific request as we will do our upmost to facilitate this as best we can but we may not be able to do so for every booking depending on our COVID seating structure.
Throughout September we have continued to feel your support..
We welcome back regulars & have greeted new guests visiting Cornwall for the first time.
All of your visits have made it possible for us to still be here doing what we LOVE & we can't THANKYOU ENOUGH!
We usually start to slow down as the seasons change but our phone lines & booking systems
are still incredibly busy SO...
We are going to stay open 7 days as long as we can utilising our outside heated awning area to maximise our SAFE DINING experience!
We would like to thankyou for being patient when calling to make or amend a booking
& for all the changes that we have had to make to your dining experience with us.

TAKE AWAY MENU
Team Hooked on the Rocks
Never in a million years did we imagine we would have to write this...
As of yesterday evening we shut our doors as a restaurant and following the government guidelines understand that this is the safest and right thing to do.
We promised you... our incredible customers and friends a take away service, which we are operating 12-2.30pm & 5-8pm today and tomorrow Mothers day 12-2.30pm. Please call and place your order over the phone.. the menu is online or you may have had it posted through your doors. We are also selling our incredible sourdough and doughnuts with 24 hours notice. This has been so very popular and if anyone would like one for tomorrow please do get in touch as they are selling fast.
We are taking payments either over the phone or contact less only please and we are very happy to leave your order outside on a bench if you would prefer to minimise contact. Please just ask!
We are also offering our incredible NHS workers a discount on food and also a free jam doughnut. We want to take this opportunity to say T H A N K Y O U T H A N K Y O U T H A N K Y O U For all your amazing work!!
Please bear with us as we navigate through to next week and make the best plan moving forward. We also want to say a M A S S I V E T H A N K Y O U to our incredible customers and team who have been sending messages of love and support! And also for ordering so much take away last night it was truly incredible and for that we are extremely grateful.
We will absolutely be here is full force and stronger than ever once we have been told its safe to do so!
... What crazy times we find ourselves in indeed! We are super happy to announce our dine out menu which goes live tomorrow Thursday 19th March. You can also enjoy this menu inside our restaurant where we are exercising safe distance dining, outside next to the sea in our terrace area or decide to take away in our biodegradable boxes. At the moment you can ring us on 01326 311886 as we going to gauge when to make this available.
Next week definitely Friday 27th, Saturday 28th & daytime Sunday 29th March with a look to go more full time the following week.
We appreciate that you may of made a booking with us based on our normal operational menu but we (due to uncertainty) have had to condense and diversify due to the situation. We really hope that you will give it a try... W E A R E I N T H I S T O G E T H E R and we want to help during this unsettling time.
As concerns grow regarding coronavirus (CORVID-19), we want to promise that everyone at Hooked on the Rocks will continue to provide the highest level of hygiene and implement the necessary precautions to protect our customers and staff. We will continue to follow the advice given by the British government and leading experts as the situation progresses. The safety and well being of all our guests and staff members continues to be the highest priority.
We are working in line with WHO, NHS and government guidance to provide the highest possible levels of hygiene and all staff members have been briefed on the importance of self-isolation should they experience symptoms. We aim to reduce and minimise the risk of any transmission by adhering to these standards. Please don’t be offended as we are now asking everyone to wash their hands upon entry to the restaurant, we have also taken out some of our tables to ensure a safe space for you to come and dine with us.
We completely understand that with all this in mind you may choose not to dine out at all in the next coming weeks…. with this in mind we have made the very difficult decision to adjust our opening hours in accordance.
From Monday 23rd be open Friday Saturday & Sundays in a bid to protect our small independent business. We are extremely grateful for your support and custom and feel that this is the best way until we are told otherwise to continue.
We sincerely don’t want to let our staff, customer’s and suppliers down and are monitoring developments as they arise to keep ahead, informed and feel that the priority has to be the welfare of our customers, staff, families, friends and neighbours.
